Nottingham-based Air IT has announced the acquisition of Edinburgh's SoConnect.
This latest move establishes a regional hub for Air IT in Scotland and further increases its share of the UK SME market.
Supported by private equity firm August Equity, Air IT has acquired 13 businesses to date, with SoConnect being its first in Scotland.
Founded by Campbell Fraser in 2011, SoConnect has delivered year-on-year growth and built a client base of 500 companies. The managed service provider has a team of 38 employees based in Edinburgh and the Borders.
SoConnect chief executive Gordon Sayers said: "We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter as part of Air IT, a move that marks a significant milestone in our journey.

Founded in 2005, Air IT is a managed service provider offering IT support, cloud infrastructure, cyber security and business intelligence.
